For his party, Colton wanted to have his friends go bowling and then to have them all spend the night. Everything went great! They all slept up in the playroom and they seemed to all have a great time!

Elijah G. and Colton....somehow I forgot to get a picture of Elijah B. with Colton
White powdered doughnuts for his birthday breakfast. (Notice who still sneaks in to sleep with his sister!)
We gave him our presents...he wanted a camo wallet and Xbox Kinect game. Part of his present was to get his iPod fixed also.
We celebrated Lovett May birthdays in Guntersville. The kids had a great time. We had a horrible scare with Cana. Wesley's cabin was at the bottom of a steep hill. The kids had been riding bikes down it. Cana wanted a turn, so we told her to use Blake's bike. We (and she) didn't know Blake's bike only had hand brakes. So she gets to the top of the hill and comes zooming down....with no brakes. She tried the handbrakes but couldn't stop it. My sister was just arriving and they said she was going so fast they couldn't catch her...and she was screaming Help Me! We were inside the cabin and all of a sudden heard a loud bang at the door. She had flown down the hill and ramp to the front door and slammed into the door HARD! No helmet or anything. She only ended up with a few scratches on her legs. We are SO thankful that God gave her the guidance to take the ramp to the house. If she had not....to the right was a steep cliff she would have gone down. To the left, was the concrete bottom of the cabin which sits off of the ground. She would have hit that head on with no helmet and then a cliff underneath. God was really taking care of her that day. We had a great time besides all of that drama!
Hudson turned 12 this year and is growing up so fast! He won FIRST place in the NATION on an essay he wrote about the stock market. So he won a trip to New York City to be on the floor of the stock exchange in June! Sydney turned sweet 16 and got her license and a new car. She just found out that she made Performers...which is a singing/dancing group at Hartselle High. My brother turns 37. I don't have words to describe how proud I am of him. I love him dearly and he has always been an encourager to me!
So thankful for all of these smiling faces in my life!
