Weekend of Love

Friday night, about 20 couples from church went to Joe Wheeler for a marriage seminar. We watched DVD's of of Mark Gungor about how to laugh your way through marriage. We certainly did that! I don't think there was one minute that someone wasn't laughing! The DVD's were great and we all enjoyed it. After one of the sessions, we were standing around talking when someone yelled, "A rat!" Immediately most of the women were in the chairs and most of the men were trying to get a closer look at it. Wayne Kuykendall headed over towards the mouse and trapped it under the podium, but it escaped.

Finally the Mouse-Slayer was victorious and caught the mouse. Of course, he had to scare a few people on the way out by waving it in their faces. He also threatened that he was going to put it in someone's room. This weekend was filled with so much laughter and good times...it was just so refreshing!
