New Year's Eve we got together with our church family to ring in the new year. We had a lot of fun eating, talking, laughing, and playing games. Here is the kids table...

We had so much fun playing games. We first played Who Knew? and found out a lot of new information about everyone...for instance, Mr. Tony doesn't know what a "hoodie" is...and Mrs. Sue found out that her husband has liked licorice for over 50 years...HA! Then we played Catch Phrase...which is always hilarious!
Mr. Danny entertained the children...Mr. Ross was already sitting there when the children came over...He wasn't really involved in the game :-)
Our family was one of the few that actually stayed until midnight. We are night owls though and it was to be expected! Then Friday night we went to Mama and Daddy's to eat soup. We wanted to play games but the men had locked themselves up in the sunroom and must have threatened the kids with their lives so we were left to tend to them. I think all of them had stayed up late and didn't have naps so they were WIRED and CRANKY! Sydney, Mama, and I did get to play one, long, game of UNO. That night Cana woke up screaming her head off that her ear was hurting. So, we didn't get much sleep at all trying to get her back to sleep and trying to ease her pain. So today we went to the doctor and it was crowded! So we were there over 2 hours and then headed home. Cana had already started to feel better before we went so no clue why that is because the Dr. said both ears were infected. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great 2010!
