Ladies Retreat

Last weekend, the ladies from our church went on a Ladies Retreat.  We had SO much fun!  We drove out to Florence and ate supper with our group.  Then we went out to the cabin to spend the night.
We began the night by playing BINGO with squares that revealed things about yourself.  If you had something in common with someone else, you wrote their name in the square and then you could BINGO when you got 5 squares in a row.  It was so funny!

Then we played Catch Phrase...which is always a favorite.  We laughed so hard!  In the picture above, you can see that the back wall is all windows.  So, Ronna and I devised a plan for her to go out and then bang on the windows.  It scared everyone so bad and we all got a good laugh out of it!

The group in my room did not go to sleep ALL night.  I had been up since 10 am on Friday morning and didn't lay down for a nap until 5 pm Saturday.  I got back up and then went back to sleep around 11.  Saturday morning, we got up and had breakfast and then had our class.  Ronna and I had a part in the class and we decided to do the yarn game.  We tweaked it by telling what you think someone else's talent is or what you admire about her.  You wind the yarn around your finger and then toss the ball of yarn to the person you talked about.  Then that person does the same thing.  It creates a big web.  Then we discussed how we are all one, and can work together for God.  Let me just tell you....it was a crying fest!  We were all in tears afterwards.  It was very moving and brought us much closer together!  I truly love these women and appreciate each and every one of them.  Can't wait until next year!
