Happy 5th Birthday, Cana!

Well, today my little girl turns 5! I just don't know where the time has gone! The Lord has blessed me tremendously with Cana. She has a tender heart that is as big as the moon. She is hilarious and totally cracks me up! She is so smart and loves learning new things! And her memory...She can remember anything! Sometimes, Chad and I don't even remember something that has happened and she will tell the whole story all over again to remind us of the event. Most importantly, she already has a love for God in her heart. She sings praises to God a lot during the day. She prays for others and shows genuine concern for them. She will pick out her "pink" clouds and knows that God made those for her because He knows that she loves "pink" clouds. My child, my sweet, darling child...you cannot ever know whay joy you have brought to me and Daddy. When we brought you home, we were so scared of how to take care of you and you have made it such a wonderful experience. You have brought us so much laughter with your funny jokes, sarcasm, and sense of humor. You amaze us with your memory and your ability to learn new things. We are so proud of you! We are so blessed that God would see fit for us to love and care for you on earth. This is a huge responsibility that we don't take lightly and we hope that we are the parents that God wants us to be to you. Please know that we will love you forever. To the moon...and back!
