Weekend Update

Saturday was a BUSY day! We had Cana's 5th birthday party at the Rec. center at 11:00. She had SO much fun! This is the first time she invited friends. The other years her birthday parties were just family. Thanks, everyone for coming and sharing the day with us! Cana loves her presents and was so excited to have you there!

Colton and Cana posing...I got her shirt/tutu from the TuTu Fairy for a really good deal and I told her the tutu was optional...but she wanted to wear it.
In front of her purse/glass slipper cake...
My sister-in-law, Amanda, came and painted the girls' nails with nail art. She did snowmen, reindeer, candy canes, trees, etc. The girls really seemed to enjoy it and I thank you bunches, Amanda, for doing it!

Posing while eating...Cana, Kaylee, Mackenzie, and Macy
Happy Birthday to you...

Just the girls...
Avery, Charity, Macy, Aubree, Cana, and Mackenzie (Kaylee had to leave early)
This will be a good picture for when they are older! :-)
Then began "Lovett Family Fun Day!" We first went to the Christmas Tree Farm to find Nana and Poppie a Christmas Tree. The group posed with the tree along with the stray dog that followed us around the farm and managed to get in the picture.
Then we ate supper and celebrated Richie's birthday. Everyone is laughing because he beat the kids to blowing out his own candles. Usually none of the grown-ups ever get to blow out their own candles...but Richie beat them to it.
After decorating the tree, we continued on with yet another tradition. We always watch National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation together. So funny!
This weekend was a lot of fun! I am so glad that we have a close family that enjoys getting together and spending time with each other!

Blowing out the candles...

Amy wasn't able to be there this time, so we took some video of Cana opening her present...a baby that walks and a doctor's kit!
